Amanda Woolard

Admission Coordinator

Amanda Woolard received both a Masters of Science and Bachelor’s degrees from North Carolina State University. Amanda first joined Auldern in 2007 as our Physical Education teacher and then quickly became the Activities Coordinator. She established herself as a valuable team-player, volunteering for tasks and duties that benefitted all departments and the school as a whole. She enjoys working with both the girls and their families. She also enjoys meeting referring educational consultants and families who are touring the facility. In 2010, she was named “Staff of the Year” which is voted on by both students and staff.

She left Auldern briefly and accepted a position as a Day Treatment Coordinator with a local agency. She continued to keep in touch with the Auldern girls and staff members, keeping Auldern alive in her heart.

The combination of her comprehensive understanding of Auldern, the skills learned in her new position and her deep caring for the Auldern girls makes her the ideal candidate to work with our families and referring educational consultants.
