Personal Growth Boarding School - Auldern Academy

Auldern Girls Do Have Social Lives

Activities
Evenings and weekends at Auldern Academy are anything but dull. Student Life Counselors work with our girls to create fun and interesting evening and weekend activities that offer our students the opportunity to enjoy a large variety of both on- and off-campus events.

On Campus activities might include yoga, dance, guitar or photography classes; students participate in volleyball, soccer, jogging or walking; they get together to make ice cream sundaes or smoothies or talk around camp fires while making s'mores. They watch movies, create talent shows and explore the 85 wooded acres.

Off Campus activities might include ice skating, roller skating,  horseback riding, attending sporting events, movies, art festivals, museums and shopping. Students plan trips to the beach, white water rafting, and bicycling expeditions. Each semester see students and staff taking eduational trips to cities of historical significance such as Washington D.C., Atlanta and Philadelphia.

Red Wolf Art and Activity Center
The Red Wolf Art and Activity Center provides a warm, therapeutic, common gathering place for students to spend their free time.

Amenities at the SLC include a pool table, foosball table, ping pong table, air hockey, television with satellite service, VCR, DVD player, stereo and electronic piano, along with a dance studio, fitness equipment and multiple other electronic or board games to play with their friends.

The art room is housed in this building and is available during the evenings and on weekends so that students may work on projects.

There is a study room for students who need a quiet place to pursue homework or have a quiet place to journal and relax.

Auldern Academy maintains a school store where students can purchase a variety of school supplies and snacks.  Additional items are accessible for purchase via student trips to local stores such as Wal-Mart and Target.
