The Campus
Auldern Academy is situated on 86 scenic, wooded acres on the Rocky River – Auldern means “by the river” in Scots Gaelic – in central North Carolina. The convenient location of our all girls boarding school makes it easily accessible to Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Close proximity to Duke University, the University of North Carolina, and North Carolina State University allows Auldern students the opportunity to utilize the vast educational and cultural resources of the region.

Academic Setting
The school setting is one of woodlands, water and academic accommodations. The scholastic facilities include well-appointed classrooms, a modern computer lab, and a well-stocked library.

Student Housing
The peaceful setting of the campus promotes a healthy balance of mind, body and spirit. Here, students live in a new dormitory where living quarters have been designed to accommodate four girls to a room. Qualified staff members, who are trained to provide support, guidance and positive influence, supervise the dormitory.

Other Amenities
Auldern students share meals in a bright, cheerful dining hall and enjoy life together in a comfortable student center. Administrative offices are located in the midst of student activity and the girls have access to support staff at all times.
